The Ylive Juice cleanse is available in 1 or 3 Day Packages
If you are doing a 3 day cleanse, simply follow the directions for Day 1 of your cleanse, and repeat your juices for each following day you are cleansing. You can substitute your meals daily. You will have juices/smoothies and detox cleansing soups and salads at lunch and dinner each day.
Before the Cleanse
A couple of days prior to beginning your cleanse, it is a good idea to start eliminating coffee, alcohol, dairy, red meat, sugar, white flour and bread products. Maximizing fruits, vegetables, and whole grains will make the transition into your cleanse much easier!
During the Cleanse
On the morning of your first day, alkalize your body with a warm glass of water with lemon and a tablespoon lemon juice or apple cider vinegar. A little while later, when your body feels the need for something more, begin with your juices for the day. Shake your juices prior to drinking. They will be consumed as follows:
-
Breakfast - Pure Gold (pineapple, ginger, turmeric, coconut water) . Unless you opt for Keto Butter Coffee
-
Mid Morning - Beet-ini (beets, apples, orange, ginger)
-
Lunch - Green Detox Smoothie Recommended: You can also have a Large Green Salad. Ask about or detox superfood salad selections designed to work with your cleanse.
-
Mid Afternoon – if hungry you can sip on decaf tea or eat a salad. You can eat as much salad as you wish, just no cream based dressing.
-
Dinner – Detoxifier - (activated charcoal, strawberry lemonade). Recommended: You may also have your detox soup or another detox salad at this time.
-
Dessert - Strawberry, Banana Probiotic Smoothie. Although you are juicing; it's still important to chew as often as possible which is one of the reasons salads are added to your cleanse.
What if I MUST eat something starchy?!
For best results, it is recommended to stick to the juices and recommended superfood detox salads. However, if you are active or just plain hungry, that’s ok! The best foods to consume are raw fruits and veggies, half an avocado, a baked sweet potato, or broth-based soups.
After the Cleanse
Your body has been hard at work resting your digestive tract. You want to ease it back into its normal function by introducing gentle foods first. Your first meals should be smoothies, soups, salads, and veggies, or lighter proteins like beans or steamed fish. With each meal, gradually re-introduce heavier foods one at a time to give your body a chance to catch up. Be mindful and carry the way you feel after your cleanse into your everyday life by making wiser food choices going forward.
